"God Locked Out" By: Danielle Tashae
'God Locked Out" is a raw tell all book of a woman with an unfavorable past. From witnessing the trauma of a mother who would run in and out of abusive relationships with drug dealers to seeing the humanity of her father who she perceived to be an immovable rock struggle with a drug addiction. For this little girl staying home was never an option, because she never had one. In fact, she learned how to run before she learned how to stay, and run is exactly what she did. She ran into the arms of alcoholism. She ran into the arms of a rocky marriage. She ran into the arms of materialism, vanity, partying and fashion. She ran into the arms of a profession as a police officer in one of the worst neighborhoods in America where she would witness the darkest parts of human nature.
She ran into all of these arms that failed her until eventually she would run into the one pair of arms that could save her; the arms of God. She traces her story back to its roots to highlight the avoidable heartache that a person might experience when God is locked out of their life.
